『パレスチナ自治区ガザにおける戦闘の早期停戦要請』

パレスチナ自治区ガザ地区における戦闘の早期停戦を要請します。

大本・人類愛善会は生命尊重の立場から、多大な犠牲者が出た今回の戦闘の一刻も早い停戦を、イスラエル、ハマス双方に求めます。

昨年12月27日のイスラエル軍のガザ地区への大規模空爆が始まって以来、イスラエル、ハマス双方の戦闘は激化し、1月5日からはイスラエル軍のガザ地区侵攻が行われています。どのような言い分があるにせよ、多くの兵士・戦闘員の命が奪われ、特に子供や女性をはじめ無力な地域住民から多大な犠牲が生じているこの戦闘を許すことはできません。

大本では「神より見れば一人の生命も大地より重しとなしたもう」と説かれています。また、「人間はかけがえの無い存在であり、人の役割は神の代行者としてこの世に地上天国を建設することにある。」と教えられています。

教祖・出口王仁三郎は「そもそも人類は、本来兄弟同胞であり、一心同体である。この本義にたちかえらんとすることは、万人霊性の深奥の要求であり、また、人類最高の理想である」と述べています。

本来、互いに手を携えて協力しあい、平和な地上天国を作り上げなければならない人類が、互いに殺戮を繰り返すことは第一、神の教えに反し、憎悪と闘争を生み続けるだけで、何の解決にもつながりません。

イスラエル、ハマス双方が人間の本義に目覚め、一刻も早くガザ地区における戦闘を停止し、話し合いによる解決の道を切り開かれることを強く望みます。

Appeal to Israel and Hamas

With emphasis on the value of human life, Oomoto and Jinrui Aizenkai (Universal Love and Brotherhood Association) appeal to Israel and Hamas to immediately cease their battle in Gaza. Whatever reasons or excuses each side gives for the outbreak of this conflict we cannot ignore the rising number of fatalities, especially the many noncombatant civilians, including women and children.

Oomoto teaches that in the eyes of God “the value of a single life is greater than that of the earth.” And further that each human being is an irreplaceable existence, and that the role of human beings is to construct paradise on earth. To create the kingdom of God, human beings must work as God’s surrogates on earth.

Onisaburo Deguchi, the Co-founder of Oomoto, emphasized that all human beings are inseparably connected with each other as brothers and sisters. This is the deep-rooted demand and the utmost ideal for all human beings.

Because humans must work together to establish the kingdom of heaven, fighting and killing each other is directly against the will of God. Hate and strife will lead nowhere and will never solve the bigger problem.

We appeal to Israel and Hamas to realize the intrinsic nature of human beings, to move for immediate cessation of violence, and to sit down to find a solution.
