The Oomoto Foundation protests any birth of a human clone baby.

The birth of a human clone baby would violate the Providence of Nature and the Law of Evolution of Life. It would cause serious disorder in society and threaten the existence of humankind itself. Any birth of a human clone baby, if a fact, would be highly regrettable.

As a religious institution, we at Oomoto have been conducting campaigns against organ transplants from the patients of brain death, genetic engineering and research involving human embryonic stem cells. We strongly protest against any abnormal reckless act that would bring ruin upon humanity, and strongly demand an immediate end to any effort to produce human clones.
